This Seminole man is a direct descendent of Chief Jumper, present at Dade's Battle in 1835. Jumper's job at the reenactment was to narrate the Seminoles' point of view as the battle progressed. He alternated his narration with that of a white man dressed as a soldier giving the Army's point of view.
