Johnston Ridge Trail #207. Summer wildfowers bloom along the trail approaching the north face of Mt. St. Helens. Some day a forest might return to this protected area. The dark region straight ahead is known as "The Breach," and the vertical white line on its left is a waterfall. Is that a cloud in the sky, or volcanic smoke?
