Luckily, there are no more stream crossings. The trail stays in the forest for a few miles, always climbing. You occasionally come across openings in the trees, but unfortunately, the low clouds prevent you from seeing much. The drizzle is steady and your head starts to hang. When you finally take a break and sit down, you have to look twice after thinking you saw glittering jewels at your feet.
