Welcome to North Cascades National Park! Your backpack is packed and you're ready to go! What's the red shovel for? Your partner is doing graduate school research on the soils in the park, and you've volunteered to help. Once you choose which trail to start with, you're on your way! But be careful, there are hazards out there in the wilderness, and the search and rescue team is standing by to airlift you out if you don't succeed. Make the right choices and you'll be rewarded with some outstanding views. You might even see some wildlife! After you finish your trip, you can return here to Basecamp and try another one. Good luck, and have fun!
